I very much appreciate your words.  I think much of my heart&#039;s creativity has been quenched by concerns about what the general populace, or certain individuals, would say or think.

That might sound funny, having been a singer/songwriter on 5 albums...but that sense of wanting approval and avoiding disapproval is still a hard thing to shake.

I have been quenched by some who have disapproved of music from my heart, and have reacted to their disapproval.

And yet...I find that the music doesn&#039;t go away.  I will record it for the joy of recording it, and will let it be whatever it will be.

I will not be quenched by the opinions of others, and hopefully, will not be puffed up by any undue appreciation.

Thanks for the article Rich.  There is much freedom to be found for all of us.
