I have often been asked to paint during a live event. Usually this takes place with an audience and I am on a stage with cameras on me where everyone can watch on a big screen. Sometimes it is off to the side and passers-by can stop and watch for a while. Either way, it’s a rush for me to do LARGE (48″ square or larger) paintings in 45-60 minutes. These are mostly very rough and crude and meant to be seen from 100 feet away as an illustration to a speaker’s message. It can be concert, a church service, a conference or a rally. I have sold them right after they are done, and sometimes used as an auction piece for a fund raiser. This works well if they are auctioned directly after being created to retain the viewers since of participation in the piece. Contact me if you need a live painter at your next event.
