As you can see, the engine compartment lid that came with the bus was a bit worse for wear having been backed into something long ago. I was OK with it for the time being, but my friend Jack was wondering around the parts yard while I was negotiating a trade of my old doors for parts. When he returned, he brought with him a very straight and very nice condition lid. Well, I had to have it since it was sitting there staring me in the face. We brought it home and I sanded down a couple of rusty bits, got it primed up and installed it. If we keep this up, the bus will be ready for new paint in no time. Still not set on a color scheme. Hmmm…
In the back there you can see my neglected 1996 Honda Nighthawk. Its been sitting there for a few weeks now… not many miles on it since I got the bus…
