Spring Oak Panels

I cut out all of the door and bay panels and got the first coat of stain on them… “Spring Oak” is the color of choice. I changed my mind from the dark brown stain I used on the first panel. There is something really nice about seeing the wood and not covering it all up with dark stain. It also goes with the Bamboo theme better. So, next I will apply a couple of coats of clear Varathane spar urethane. Before installing them however, I think I should be waiting to get the insulation installed, so I don’t have to take everything off… but I might go for it anyway.
